3D Object in WO7

Hi, 

We are doing performance tests with 3D objects.

I have verified that the number of faces of the 3D object greatly affects the fluidity of playback of the video used as the texture of the object.

Do we know any limit to the number of faces with which we can work without a problem?

In my tests, the problem appears from an object with about 600,000 faces.

With a still image everything goes well, I have used a 3D object with 3,000,000 faces. But as soon as I use a video as a texture (through a virtual display of course), the video jerks.

On the other hand, it would be very important to be able to use masks within watchout, as we do in version 6. Is there a possibility of having this implemented in the month of June?

This issue has been confirmed and is currently being investigated.

This is planned for WATCHOUT 7.3, the next release with new features. As to when, while June is not out of the question, I would not hold my breath ;)

WATCHOUT 7.2.2 corrects your issue, released today.

Hi,

I have installed version 7.2.2 and, so far, everything has improved.

3D GPU performance has dropped from 100% to 15% with the 3D object of 3,000,000 faces.

Thank you very much for the effort and it would be great to have a version with the mask editor, even if it is not final before June 18.
