bgarrett Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 Hello, I am looking for an active male display port to male HDMI adapter/cable. All I can find is an adapter with a female HDMI adapter. Is that the only way to make it active. With a female HDMI end, that is another connection point that can come unhooked. Thanks, Brent 0 Quote

Moderator jfk Posted February 24, 2015 Moderator Report Posted February 24, 2015 LMGTFY.... Dynex™ - 6' DisplayPort-to-HDMI Cable - Black Passive cables like that are easy to find. Cable needs to be active, so that is not going to help. 0 Quote
Moderator Morgan Wong Posted February 24, 2015 Moderator Report Posted February 24, 2015 how about Active DP to DVI, and DVI to HDMI? this: http://www.accellcables.com/collections/adapters/products/ultraav-displayport-to-dvi-d-active-single-link-adapter?variant=729675241 and this: http://www.accellcables.com/collections/cables/products/ultraav-standard-hdmi-cable-with-dvi-connector?variant=729676337 tighten the screws should slove your needs. or simply use PVC tape with Active DP to HDMI(female) and HDMI(both male). Sound Bites LLC Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 I would just get the Active adapters with the Female HDMI connectors, then get locking HDMI cables. Adapters: http://www.accellcables.com/collections/adapters/HDMI Cables: http://www.accellcables.com/collections/cables/products/avgrip-pro-locking-high-speed-hdmi-cable?variant=846828341 Hope this helps.
