Moderator jfk Posted April 10, 2016 Moderator Report Share Posted April 10, 2016 Since the file lays it is compatible. Since it plays poorly, the hardware is not up to the task. Do you observe the stuttering on WATCHOUT display or just on production?
Vollmers
I have just finished a project, and since I bought all the hardware from Dataton, I do assume it should be good enough to almost anything. I had similar issues with prores, but after a bit of testing I converted it to the HAP codec. No problems since that. And the show is running in a 24H News studio, with lots of very big video files. Watchout is, from version 6, natively configured with HAP, so you don't even have to install the codec. Best regards Christian
assafyosef
i see it on the display. i just realized the files are 865 mbps and i think this is the problem. i need to send them a definition of the files to work smoothly. i'll be happy if you can help me with that. thank you, assaf
