SweetHorizon
Was very excited to see WO6 had started supporting ProRes. Everything looked great the first time we used a ProRes file. But then I discovered a line of digital noise on the left side of some of the videos only on the display machine. It is not always consistent and I can't say when I noticed the problem it may or may not have been after an update. But it seems the updates since then have not fixed the issue. So I assume that the problem is unknown. The display machine was purchased from the US partner ShowSage in December of last year. Other than adding an ADAT audio card and installing updates of Watchout, the machines are pretty much new. One machine I updated Windows 7 to the latest updates, but did not fix anything. Below are images of the issue. https://www.dropbox.com/s/go6hdo69w0g99if/IMG_2827.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/59ijbr659agkh7a/IMG_2972.JPG?dl=0 Thanks, Brian
Moderator jfk Posted August 5, 2016 Moderator Report Share Posted August 5, 2016 Please be more specific than "WO6" Almost every update of WO6 has included ProRes improvements. Please confirm you have tested in WATCHOUT 6.1.2
Erik Rönnqvist
Hello! As jfk mentioned, a few bugs in the prores decoder have been fixed along the way. If you're not using 6.1.2 yet, please give it a try and see if the artefacts disappear. If this does not work, provide support with sample prores files that show the problem, and we will have a look. /Erik
