Are you referring to the warning message that it is not recommended to add a display to the production computer? This is just a new warning message. You can just click ok and create a local display but you're in charge of performance issues etc. when running all on one physical computer.

Dataton Partner RBeddig Posted March 28 Dataton Partner Report Share Posted March 28 Have you ever seen your second display on GPU channel 2 on this machine? On my notebook, I have to set e.g. channel 5 to connect to a display on my HDMI port.

Have you tried other output numbers? Seems Rainer had to go all the way up to 5 to find his second output.
Dataton Partner Walter Posted March 28 Dataton Partner Report Share Posted March 28 Tip of the day = select your device under "Devices" and choose "reset services to default" in the property pane. It will render the display info and show you the appropriate display channel number. Once you (de)activate a display, the display info will again disappear on all displays.

Is it possible to understand in what ways the channels have been routed relative to the outputs of the Graphics card? Dataton Partner Walter Posted September 25 Dataton Partner Report Share Posted September 25 18 hours ago, Manya said: How to mach IP Address runner & po What you see is the splash screen showing the IP(‘s) which can be used to drive the displays from an external director. This will be the ip address shown behind the device when you reach the server from a producer from a different machine. In the device list you will always see the localhost address (127.0.0.1) behind your machine since that is how your program is reaching itself. This is normal behavior.

First advice is to use the latest available release v7.4.1. Second advice is to ideally use a second machine as producer. Although it’s possible to run producer on the server and can be a valuable feature in some occasions, it’s not the preferred way of running your show. Director can be run on the display server without issues, producer is best ran from a secondary machine.
