Pawan Vishwakarma
Has anyone used Blackmagic Design DeckLink Mini Monitor successfully to input a 1080i/50 or 1080i/60 signal into Watchout v5.5.2?
Jonas Dannert
Pawan, Blackmagic Design DeckLink Mini Monitor is an output device, so that will not work so well. You'll need Mini Recorder to capture video, and it should work. /jonas

Can you see it in media express on the display machine? First try changing the settings there. Also try 1080i/25 in both Media Express and Watchout. WATCHOUT has no problem with 30 Hz, just change the setting in File - Preferences - General Display Framerate to Custom and type in 30. (acceptable frame rates are 24 to 120). Of course, the hardware must be able to provide 30hz progressive and confirm that in the EDID data, most modern GPUs can handle that.

Be prepared to try with PASSIVE DP-DVI adapters, instead of the active ones. Only time I've used 3 units of Watchpax 2 outputting to a large LED wall with China-made LinSn Sending Cards that were set to 30Hz, the passive adapters were the only ones that worked well.
