TomT
Hi all, I searched the forum but couldn´t find an answer: Doese WO6 support h.265 ? Thanks in advance....
Mike Fahl
No. Besides its lower data rate (which usually isn't of much use for WATCHOUT), I see no particular advantage of using it with WATCHOUT. It's a significantly heavier codec than H264, and hardware accelleration is so far pretty much non-existent. Mike
TomT
Hi Mike thanks for your answer. I agree, but unfortunately I got some files from my client in h265. So I have to recode......

VisualBandits
Hi. Has anyone any experience regarding H265-video in Watchout. Will files coded in H265 ha as high bitrate as HAP-files? I need to use files 5K wide and due to handling of disk space at the producers end i would like to avoid HAP if possible. Ideas? //robert
