artboy
When can I hear about watchout 7? Five years have passed since WATCHOUT 6 was released. In the field, there is a constant demand for better codecs (such as HEVC) and better features (such as HDR). When will I get information about WATCHOUT 7 other than minor upgrades such as bug fixes?
trond
Thanks for your post and interest! WATCHOUT today is used in thousands of installations and projects, with new, innovative applications constantly being deployed (even through these hard pandemic times). That kind of consistency and track record is not least due to the many improvements in stability and feature-set implemented from version 6.0 through 6.6 (all free downloads for v6 users). Besides ongoing improvements which ensure a strong platform for current and future users, our development team of course continues to work hard on the next planned step for WATCHOUT. As soon as we have solid information to share about that, we'll do so on the forum and other communication platforms.
