  1. Hello, I would like to have a border around my live input layer (like PIP). Is there any build-in way to do this or do I need to create something in Photoshop? Thanks
  2. I had the same problem, but what I did was connecting the first screen before starting up the server, and then connect the other screens with a little pauze between every connection. That way the numbers in WO match with the ones in windows or graphics API. As long as you don't disconnect them these numbers stay the same, even when rebooting.
  3. Ok, don't know what I did or what went wrong the first time but everything ok now,
  4. Unfortunately Adobe has dropped Quicktime support, including HAP en DXV. Anyone has an alternative to render videos to HAP?
  5. I recently bought and installed this capture card (https://www.datapath.co.uk/datapath-products/video-capture-cards/visionlc-range/visionlc-hd2) in one of our WO servers. I already had a Decklink SDI 4K, of which I was quite satisfied. But then I needed a HDMI capture card and listened to some people here and also the Dataton guy who did the Dataton Academy in the Netherlands was advising this type of card (as opposed to Decklink). The card works, but the latency is almost ridiculous. I must say I haven't tested the latency outside of WO but it was somewhere around 40 frames using 1920 x 1080 @60hz output. I assume there must be some software tweeking to do because I can't think of any reason why people would recommend this card with that much latency. I already contacted Datapath as well, awaiting their reply. Anyone any experience with this card/brand? Thx!
  6. I have the W9100 and have 6 x 4K@30hz. Windows 10 and WO 6.2.1
  7. I ordered the Datapath VisionLC-HD2: https://www.datapath.co.uk/datapath-products/video-capture-cards/visionlc-range/visionlc-hd2 Will give an update when installed. I have Decklinks now, but Datapath capture cards supposedly accept resolutions/frequenties without having to set it up in the computer itself through a software like with the decklink cards.

    HAP codec

Ok thanks. Yes indeed it works on the production pc 6.2 but not on the one with 6.2.1. Ok looking forward to the new release!

    HAP codec

Hello all, Probably already discussed here before but I've got a HAP problem. I recently bought a new production pc (laptop) and I can't get HAP files running on it. Works with Quicktime and other players though but WO only reads it as a sound file. On my other (older) production laptop the same file works perfectly. I installed the codec and all but no result. What am I forgetting?
  10. Do you mean that I can't (or shoudn't?) scale my image but rather make all the displays smaller (a lot!) so that they fit the resolution of the image? What is the best way to do? Scale the displays or scale the image?
  11. Ok wow that's what I was looking for! Thnaks guys!
  12. Hi all, How doable is this? https://imgur.com/a/70GX8 I have 4 server with 6 outputs each at my disposal so hardware is no issue. All the screens (LCD) are supposed to show different videos (so far nothing special) but somethimes they should be showing one big picture. The client is aware of the difference in quality between the two setups, but I'm not sure of the how-to. Is the fact that some screens are in portrait a big isue or do I just rotate them? Do I just load all these screens in my stage and 'throw' the media over it? How do I counter the difference in size is? All the screens are 1920 x 1080 but going from 10" to 65"... I'm not expecting a complete manual, but if someone who did this kind of setup before could just give me some 'tips and tricks'? Thanks in advance!
  13. Hi David, I just figured it out minutes before reading your post. Indeed scaling to 100% is very small but I find 175% to be satisfying. Thanks!
