cpyedz
Hi All, can I ask for some help on watchout live feed? I'm using a video camerat and intensity pro as the live video source, I can see the live video preview in watchout control screen, but when I push the content online, the display screen doesn't show the live video (other graphic/video files can be showing). I also checked the display window "Video in" menu, it shows in gray color which can not be able to click. Can I know how to solve that? thanks a lot!
Dataton Partner Walter Posted July 27, 2012 Dataton Partner Report Share Posted July 27, 2012 Uhm, sounds as if you only have an intensity pro on your production system and not on the display computer? And if you do have an intensity installed on display pc, can you see the feed in your BM media express software? Start from there, let us know.

Thanks Bro, yes, we only install intensity pro on the production system, so is that mean to show a live video have to install two intensity pro on both display computer and production computer, is that the new requires for watchou 5? Thanks!
Jonas Dannert
No, this is not new. You only use capture on Production for preview purposes, you cannot "push" the live input to the Display/s. One need to install the capture card in the Display computer in order for Live capture to work. Hope this helps, /jonas

Hope this helps, /jonas and to extend on that, you do not need a capture card on Production, only display. A capture card on Production is optional, if you do not put one there, the live feed window will appear as a default thumbnail image in Production preview. It has been that way in WATCHOUT since the live video option was added to WATCHOUT long ago.
ThomasL
Agree with jfk. So, for example, if one is using a laptop with built-in webcam as the Production PC, one could watch oneself on the webcam, whilst the Display PCs show the live video feed from other cameras!
