  1. In april I was asking the same question under "New Releases of WO and WN"
  2. This is all ok up to a resolution of 1920 x 1080 px. At the moment there are still no chipsets (semtech.com) that work in 10-bit depth for higher resolutions such as UHD or 4k. LYNXTechnik AG is developing a so called greenMachine series of converters callisto, titan a.s.o. Martin www.pfeifer-media.de
  3. Maybe you have trouble with EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) management? In principle, the use of EDID emulators is recommendable.
  4. What is the meaning of the field "Interaction Name" in the advanced Cue Specifications? Martin
  5. The realtime rendering capabilities of WO are a big value. So I think it is important being able to connect external sensors such as the Source Audio Hot Hand which is just about 100,- €. For connecting a professional system as BlackTrax someone should write a program that translates their protocol (RTTrPM = Real Time Tracking Protocol for Motion) into the WO generic input control protocol. This might be "fairly simple". Their protocol is open source: https://github.com/CAST-Software Here you will see a link for RTTrP 1.8.7.0, and from there you can find the RTTrPM branch information. I got this information from the BlackTrax Product Specialist William McDaniel. Martin
  6. Since it is working like a webcam and there is no driver installation required, I think it should work. Martin
  7. I have tested two LYNX "Yellobrick" 1812 HDMI to SDI converter. (They also can be synchronized) and work very well. LYNX brings out a new "green" series that I think so will also support higher resolutions. Martin

  9. Thank you! Good idea and easy to realize. (At first I thought that I schould have to build up a captive portal ...)
  10. Sure I know. The panel should be accessible to any visitor with any smartphone just by logging into the WI-FI. Martin
  11. "...interface with tween tracks (i.e Kinesys K2 data)" Kinesys K2 and WATHOUT are both supporting DMX. Martin
  12. On http://openptrack.org/tracking-comparison/you will find a comparison of some tracking systems. With some extra scripting (e.g. opening TCP/ip socket) they all can be connected to WATCHOUT.
  13. Anyone knows how to realize access to a WATCHNET panel just by logging into the Wi-Fi and opening a browser?
  14. Did you overlook the little Color sqare? One click on it opens the selection of the HSB, RGB or CMY sliders with numerical input fields. Martin
  15. Maybe you take a look at the blog http://doc-ok.org/ and http://idav.ucdavis.edu/~okreylos/ResDev/ Martin
  16. Use a MIDI interface for the production/display PC. Use a MIDI interface for the iPad. If your hardware controller has only USB, use a MIDI USB Host. Connet the two MIDI Outputs to a MIDI Merger. Connect the Merger wich MIDI IN of the MIDI interface for the WO Computer. See attached images. Martin Martin
  17. Of course WO can receive motion control data. Use the industry-standard protocols TCP/IP, MIDI, DMX-512 or serial data communication. It is just a thing of "interface-thinking".
  18. What about making compositions with scaling and panning parameters and then loop, free run and dissolve these?
  19. Just copy and paste. This will also paste the text color. Or: The text png`s are located in the folder "myshows" > "showname_cache" > "T" > "*.png" as shown in the media window ... Martin
  20. I myself have started experiencing with Blender and Sketchup. The standard practice for importing a 3D model and using it for content creation is explained inthe videos 3D Basics 3D Texturing 3D Texturing with Virtual Displays 3D Projection Mapping Basics 3D Mapping with Multiple Projectors
  21. I will try to use USB to MIDI converters for each MIDI-Device, then connecting them with MIDI cables to a MIDI Interface that has an USB connection to the PC - anyone knows wether it maybe sucessful?
  22. I think WATCHOUT should be able to use more than one MIDI Device.
  23. I would like it if you could pin the WO GUI Windows onto the screen(s) in the way as it is for example possible in the Lightworks editing software (www.lwks.com) Martin Pfeifer
  24. As you said, I want to daisy chain some MIDI conroller/devices, maybe one MIDI Solutions F8, one Source Audio Hot Hand and one Korg Nano Control. I want to link them to one USB Port of the display computer. Regards, Martin
  25. Has anyone tried to use several class-compliant MIDI controller (those who don't require extra drivers) with WO? I am thinking about wheter it is possible to use the iConnectMIDI4+ that supports 8 MIDI devices with a powerde USB Hub to get more than one controller in WO. http://www.iconnectivity.com/products/midi/iConnectMIDI4plus Martin Pfeifer
