  1. Some notes on how I use the emulation. If you have a card with 4 output, firepro w7000, and are only using 2 (my case). Must enable EDID emulator only for the used outputs and make sure you never connect any thing to the other, unused, outputs. Cover it with PVC tape. Also can enable emulation to all outputs to be safe, but in this case you are wasting resources with 2 outputs not used. If you connect a screen to the no emulated outputs, screen reconfiguration will occur.
  2. Iv tested with PNGs alpha and no alpha, and MOVs
  3. I've tested and Im using it in several machines.
  4. ATI FirePro cards can emulate EDID. This means even if no display is connected to the output of the card, windows will always "see" the monitors, and "Unexpected Display Reconfiguration" will not be a problem anymore.
  5. Hello all, Bug report. Seems like WO is not caching the file right after import. I've tried to import by dragging and its OK, only by going to Media->Add media file... I get the error. If I don't open the file right after import and do something else, and only after open the file it OK. video 1
  6. I found that only crash if opacity of the media cue is different form 0
  7. To your attention. It cost me a lot of time this small bug. If you activate on the media cue "Masked by the Layer Above > Alpha Mask" and then remove the mask from the above layer without "Masked by the Layer Above > Off", Production and Display nodes will crash if you try to run the media.
  8. You can use more than one server. I had a similar problem when streaming 30+ pictures at the same time.
  9. Right, that the way to run video on a windows with drop shadow. But what I assumed from agfrancis previous post was to make a video with alpha channel and dynamic drop shadow.
  10. I guess if you create a VPN from you home to the display nodes on site.
  11. The possibility of having the stage window out of the main/global window would be a great feature. This would allow to minimise watchout, but still have a monitor window.
  12. I don't think this is the best forum for advice about 3D mapping. Try http://forum.garagecube.com http://vvvv.org/forums http://cycling74.com/forums
  13. It's not the answer you want but it may help. Create an pause cue and dragit to the end of the media cue, it will snap to the end tail. Best of luck
  14. I need to be able to control TCP\IP everything on production, even the Stage preview. Thanks
  15. Im using AMD FirePro W9000 for 6 output, and no complains about it. You can try the new W9100 4K....
  16. Missing " Reset " command for production PC. Reset = kill all Aux and maintime line. Similar to The Reset sendo to dislay nodes.
  17. If all the functions in Production are controlled by TCP, Watchout will give a giant steep forward. Please do it.
  18. I need a Stage media preview. Lets say se have an composition in a time line. All the media cue's have opacite and position to an MIDI Input. I need to PREVIEW on stage the position before setting opacite to 100%.
  19. Based on the Corners Tween would be VERY good to have the possibility to create shapes to use as Masks. OR to have an extended version of Corners tween with a lot more points to create shapes, similar to display Geometry .
  20. Check out this apps for iOS Mote CMD UDP Remote and Google Play UDP Sender Any mobile device can be used to trigger the Cues.
  21. Hey all, Anyone got any problem / strange behavior in production after unlocking windows? If I running a show in production and decide to lock windows, upon unlocking some of the time lines will jump to the next Cue. !! strange I guess !!
  22. Here is an example for a simple button to run on a win laptop. Enable UDP control for production. Create an time line called "All tables" and inside put an cue called "Table 5" Link for the .exe only 21kb https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vo4ts52bfxg8yz4/AABjzZkTJnNfonxxOYmVtAWra
  23. What about using UDP messages. Create an wireless network and use generic inputs for UDP and use the iPhone or any Android device. Apps like UDP TCP Server or UDP sender, there's so many similar free apps. TCP is safer connection but I don't thing production allows more than one client at same time. or the iPhone control app from watchout !! or a laptop with small flash or .net code.
  24. Its actually a feature I like to see in WO, live input freeze. Freeze and keep the last frame until unfreeze. Sorry I can't help.
