  1. Hi all, Could someone explain any example where would be useful to use different Stage Resolution for 3D mapping projectors? Best regards,
  2. Thank you for your reply. Quim
  3. Hi all, There is an old topic asking for HDR playback in WO. Just wanted to know if someone tried it or have any information could help to understand if it's possible or not. Thank you
  4. Hi Rishabh, You need to do it manually compressing different files and folders in a zip and then changing the extension. Here you have some instructions from older Watchnet manual: Creating a WATCHOUT bundle You will be able to export such a presentation bundle directly from within a future WATCHOUT version. In the meantime, a bundle can be created manually by following these steps. 1. Consolidate the show to a folder. 2. Select all items in this folder (you must select all the items inside the folder, as shown below, not the folder itself), and compress them to a ZIP file. 3. Rename the resulting ZIP file to showname.wob, where “showname” is the name the show will be known under in WATCHNET. NOTE: Make sure you have “show file extensions” enabled in Windows, so the file gets the desired .wob extension. If file extensions are hidden, Windows may instead rename the file to “showname.wob.zip”, which will not work in WATCHNET. Quim
  5. Hi all, Anyone tried DANTE VSC for more than 8 channels? Thank you
  6. The problem is you can't download 2016 LTSB, they send to you to download the last 2019 LTSC. Does anybody know where or if is it possible to download 2016 LTSB?
  7. djandi, i haven't tried it myself but know someone did with success installing HAP codecs as is not natively supported by WO5 but if you do it's at your own risk. Quim
  8. I found useful to use in cases like this the AMD EDID manager to get all the outputs with the same EDID, if not the S400 is not working properly.
  9. Tim, another thing you have to consider is, if nothing changed until now, AMD cards only can get up to 3x4K outputs due to a issue with the driver.
  10. It's alos important the first time you connect a Watchpax to a network to use a DHCP sever to give him a valid IP address. Than you can setup in the Watchpax a fix IP address if you need it.
  11. Hi all, I don't remember if it already was treated on this forum. My knowledge says to me that shouldn't be any problem to use a 5K Display with Watchout, that as soon the graphic card and Display works fine WO should do. I'm right? Any experience on it? Thank you.
  12. Hi, I wonder if Watchpax series will be compatible with ASIO to be able to have until 24 audio outputs. Thank you for the new 6.2 version.

    WATCHOUT 6.2

Seems very similar what happened to me some times with WO 6.1.5 when adding new HAP files to my timeline but I couldn't force to reproduce it. First time I though the file were bad rendered but they were fine. First time happened to me I recovered show from a back up and added new files again to the show and solved. Other time removed the files, close the show, open again and loaded files again all was fine. Only experimented on laptop with Windows 10 and when adding new files. Not tried yet with WO6.2.
  14. Hi, I realised now you can't choose where to install WO, it does in a WATCHOUT folder in the main root of the main system disk. Later can copy to another folder but it's like a bit mess.
  15. Hi, There is one thing that I would fine very useful if you didn't implemented yet on WO 6.2. I would be folders for Inputs and Outputs. I'm working on a project where I have more than 100 Generic inputs and when I want to do some tests it's like a mess and if they were grouped in folders would be easier. Thank you.
  16. Hi all, I remember in the past there were a way to hide desired AuxTimelines for the WO Remote. I remember was using any special character at the beginning of the AuxTimeline name. Is it still working? And which was this character? Thank you

    WATCHNET 1.4

Hi Makkot, When you install Watchnet in your computer, I talk you about Windows version, don't know about MAC OS version, create a folder called "WATCHNET_Data" at \users\"user name" folder in the main drive system. Copying this folder to the new computer you could have the Watchnet setup transferred to it. Hope helps.
  18. Thank you Leonard. Set up will be next week. I will update with our experience.
  19. Hi Miro, A Windows 10 tweaking list would be appreciate. Thank you.
  20. Hi Mike and Erik, That happened me with 2 different Production computers (one W10 and other W7) and 2 different brand Display computers (both W7). The movies were HAP and HAPQ. First time that happened me this I though I converted a Prores file to HAP Alpha by mistake and reconverted it again to HAPQ and had the same result. The second time I got the files from the customer (HAP), all were working fine and suddenly had the problem with a few of them, after copying the aux timelines to a brand new show no more problems. It was no presplit video. First time was refreshing the video and was a only one projector and one video. Second time was dragging the videos from Media Window over cue in the timeline (with blending area but no presplit). If it happens me again I will try to find any info more.
  21. Thank you Rainer, I will when I had more info about length and final size for the video. Best regards,
  22. Thank you Erik, I will take the size in consideration. What about using presplit H264 or MPG2? Regards.
  23. Hi, I have a project where we are going to use a Watchpax 2 for a 2 projectors blending screen. Our idea was to do a only one 3552x1080 px video in HAP. Do you know if it will work or we should pre-split it? Thank you.
  24. Hi all, I just realised one problem when producing Watchout shows. I was producing some Watchout shows using HAP files. All is going fine until when suddenly some of the new added HAP files were not playing properly, I don't know how to explain, like if over the file had a white image a bit of opacity. Firstly thought it was because were wrong formatted to HAP, tried to recompress to HAP with the same result. That happened on the Production computer and the Display computer. Then tried the "wrong" files in a new show and worked fine. So decided to do a new show copying the timelines and all was fine. Watchout vrsion 6.1.5, production computer W10 and Display computers W7 pro. Any idea?
