    I dont have detail tech diagram for this project. but using AMD professional grade(firepro W7000 or higher / radeon pro WX7100 or higher) with S400 sync module can link & lock different Display PC.

    Normally 3 license key can drive up to 12ouputs(max. 6 outputs per Display PC, and 1 license for Production PC). unless you use other hardware can split 4K to 4xHD. please be more clear about what is your requirement and more information about current status, so we can provide some solution for you.     I had a project use 7 set of this dimmer, total 7 x 12= 84 channel. controlling lights for about 10 different zones without any problem. I know your setup have problem. that's why i ask you to test with different hardware. to find out what actual problem is. but you can not reach the site now, so it is no way to check & fix it. good luck, Morgan.

    Hi Jonas, here's the video i test with dmx_test.watch project. https://youtu.be/-DKs4i2k5Qo DMX light Channel 1: Intensity (always on), 2:Red, 3:Green, 4:Blue, 5:Effect, 6:Flash rate in the right hand side, is the artnet monitoring program. you can see the change is very smooth. no flicker / sudden change at all. and the LED light is perform very normal and following the watchout program. I am not sure what actual problem is since i am not on the site to do the test. I know you already test directly control with lighting console, so shouldnt be the DMX dimmer problem. so my question is: -Any other artnet program/ device on the same network? -Did you try another DMX box? -How about use another PC/laptop do the program? -and How about the connection path? just dmxLan node direct to the dmx dimmer? or have other device on the network?     you are welcome to upgrade to version 6. but Watchout 5.5.2 already have composting function you need. you can use layer and mask to "separate" the screen into 4 parts. or simply make the video evenly in to 4 parts, then put into the timeline side by side.

    are you using ACTIVE display port to DVI/VGA adapter? some model of HD7970 can run up to 6 outputs, I believe HD7970 require ACTIVE adapter for 3rd or more output. M.

    it depends on what cable you are using. mDP to SL DVI- max resolution is 1920x1200 each mDP to DL DVI - max resolution is 2560x1600 each mDP to DP or mDP - max resolution(maybe not max, but my 4K monitor max. is 3840x2160) is 3840x2160 each, but one is 60Hz, second output is 30Hz. by the way, What is the error message? and what kind of video codec are you playing? no proper video codec may cause Display software crash and restart, then you will get "lost connection" message.     I am using Korg nanokontrol 2 too, it perform very stable. your situation is not normal. What is your input name & tween formula? and have you test the nanokontrol on other computer? Morgan.

    please check the original video file first, if no problem, then check the converted mpeg2 file. if mpeg2 also no problem, please make sure your Watchout machine are tuned for watchout playback by following the recommended tweaklist. if problem still there, you should upload the project & video file to support team.     in the Display, Video in should be "Decklink Video Capture" & "Decklink Video Capture (2)". then in the Production Live input, signal input is SDI, and try to set the Video Standard to 1080i25 (not 50!) I have same experience before. in BM Media Express, setting is 1080i50, but nothing shows up. and make sure you set the correct input device. Morgan.

    one question: what is the connection between Display PC to Video wall / Projectors? optic fiber? or DVI cable? any processor between Video wall? or just Sending card? i had this problem before if the EDID information is not correct(or not complete due to the manufacturer problem) . sometimes the order of the output is 1,2,3,4 after reboot, sometimes is 2,3,1,4, it change randomly. because the OS doesn't recognize and remember the device. make sure your device have correct EDID information. M

    it looks like signal problem, i suggest do the following test: 1.source check: check your capture source direct to the monitor, check if it is source problem or capture card problem. 2.software check: check the capture source from the blackmagic software, see if the capture source stable or not. 3. cable check: -replace the SDI cable between capture card and source, -replace the DVI? between Watchout PC and LED/TV. I use BMD Decklink Duo with Asus Sabertooth z97 and no problem at all. very stable capture 2 source at same time. M.

    No. you still need some converter for pixel mapping. Watchout not support video to DMX convert. but you can control DMX channel & value through ArtNet. Universe is 1in and 1out. M.

    oh! you mean control cue? i though you mean "play/pause" No. you can not. only Fs can do. but you can use midi keyboard/controller to trigger/jump to any point of the timeline.

    I would recommend all media/scene on the rundown/cue sheet, should program on the main timeline. or follow Micheal's direction if you dont like the main timeline. you can insert a control cue(CTRL+P) on the beginning of the timeline, and name it F1 (or F1-F12), then press F1, will jump to the beginning(or any time you place the control cue). yes, open 2 project at the same time, then just select it, copy and paste.
