    Hi UnitCone, I will not discuss what is the best solution as there are lot of factors to consider but I see at least 3 other options: - Use video proxy with a file in a windows shared folder and file transfer set to “manual”. It need to activate file sharing on the players but if the files are not that big it’s very efficient. It’s better than a shared folder on the player as it can be played also on the producer and if you have multiple servers it should works fine. - Use a live input with a SD card player plugged as HDMI input. The main advantage is it’s completely outside of the Watchout world so you can’t break the main show if you do something wrong (bad codec, bad file…) - Use an NDI input from a computer desktop screen. A bit the same as the SD card player but may be cheaper… BR, Benoit

    Hi, The only way to use 3D projector is if you know the accurate positioning of each windows together. So you can create a single 3D object (or multiple 3D objects placed accurately in the stage). As you said, using corner tween will probably be lot easier. You can use a VirtualDisplay for each window, so you can apply the corner tween on the VirtualDisplays media so when you place your clips in the VirtualDisplays they use the correct corner tween.     Hi Matthew, Where do you see that Datapath card support composite PAL? To what I see, it can support 480i and 756i resolution but I think it's on an SDI format, so numeric. Composite PAL is analog so you need a composite to SDI converter. I'm sory but I'm not very good in old standard so maybe I'm wrong, anyway I think I have a converter I can borrow you if it can help... Cheers, Benoit

    Hi, Windows is probably configure to not set the IP address if network cable is not present. Try to remove the autostart, remove the network cable and start watchpoint. What IP address is shown ? Rgds, Benoit

    Hi Keith, When you said HAP does not look good, I'm curious, could you tell me which encoder do you use? On a Mac or on a PC? I agree, HAP is not very color accurate, but to me, if correctly encoded it does the job most of the time. Thanks for your reply. Best regards, BenoiT

    Hi, Can you control your projectors using DMX? If so, you can output ArtNet from your two producers and use an ArtNet to DMX converter that handle backup like the nodes from luminex... Good luck, Benoit

    Dear Molnarfzoltan, I don't know for all your errors but when I see the "Runtime error; Unrecognized command: }" it often comes from the network, I guess because some packets where drops. Maybe you can try without the wireless and see if you have less issue? Best, Benoit

    Hi Add, Thanks for the screenshots. My recommendation is to emulate the same EDID (NOVA HD CARD in your case) on all outputs. When Watchout start, it init a display for each active output. And when you have an output with a different scan rate, even if it’s not used in your project, I’ve already have glitch issue because Watchout try to sync the different outputs… Then, you should have the green mark on all outputs, meaning that every output is referenced on the same signal.     Hi Add, I let Morgan check with you. Tell me if you don't manage to fix it but Morgan is probably stronger than me. I personally prefer GenLock over frame lock for redundancy reason but it's supposed to work for both. Best, Benoit

    Hi Add, Yes, this is due to scanning and the only way I know to avoid this is to use an external sync generator (blackmagic have a cheap one), generate a 50Hz genlock and input it both in your S400 and in your LED controllers. Be careful, some LED controlers only support black burst and not tri level. S400 cards support both. Good luck, Benoit

    Hello, There is lot of way of achieving it! Maybe you could be more specific on what you want to do? If you talk about tracking, you can use BlackTrax to get the XYZ position of someone and move and trigger media depending on his position. You can also use 2D laser to react on a more simple (2D) detection. But also, you can consider using an external show control system (like Medialon Manager) to interact with many kind of sensors or protocol… My personal experience with Kinect is that the result and the user experience is always disappointing. It don’t works well with many users in the field of the camera, you need to be at a specific position to be correctly detected, the USB is not reliable when long cables are needed… But it’s cheap, probably cheaper than the solutions above and you can still find lot of camera on ebay.     Hello, Watchout is not able to detect all types of timecode and sometime it guess wrong. Specially between the different SMPTE variant. I think it's SMPTE-30 that is not technically possible to differentiate from SMPTE-NDF, anyway, putting the right type of timecode always help. Is it the Medialon that generate the audio timecode? Because, if yes, you can also use a Medialon timeline with positrack and it will work the same using only IP. Best, Benoit

    Hello Ryan, This issue is often when you mix output frequencies (which should be the same). My guess is your 1920x1200 is at 59.94 while your 3840x2160 is 60. An easy try is to switch to 1920x1080 which is normally 60 also and it should play fine... Best, Benoit
